No, you won’t. In fact, the perfect example of deprivation is eating the SAD “Standard American Diet” diet filled with factory-made, genetically-modified foods that contain enormous amounts of chemicals, preservatives, bad fats and sugar. That, my friend, is deprivation – eating. With the Metabolic Balance® personalized nutrition plan you’ll be doing the complete opposite. All of your meals are balanced to ensure you are fueling your body with the proper nutrients you need to optimize your metabolism, regulate your hormones and maximize fat loss.
When your diet consists of refined carbs, simple sugars and processed foods, you have to eat more of it to feel satisfied. This is your body telling you that it does not have the nutrients it needs to maintain balance – it’s not getting satisfied! With the Metabolic Balance®, your body will get all the nutrients it needs through your personalized nutrition plan. And, when you practice Mindful Eating, as I’ll teach you in this program, your body WILL not only get the nutrition it needs, but it will also get the signal stop eating when you’re full – Naturally!
You may experience some unpleasant symptoms as you detox during Phase 1 if you typically consume a high amount of sugar and processed foods but they will subside as your body receives the proper nourishment and you adjust to your new way of eating.
Pregnant and nursing mothers, those with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency and strict vegetarians that do not eat animal protein are excluded from participation in the Metabolic Balance® program.
While this program is based on eating only whole foods, it is still advised that you consult your physician before beginning this or any program if you have any concerns.

It is important to leave gaps between meals and to avoid snacking. Your body needs this time not only to fully digest the last meal, but also to rest and to repair. During this time the body is able to move into a ‘fat-burning’ metabolism. Eating between meals disrupts metabolism, as well as the normal fat-storage and fat-burning process .
Yes, especially during phase two. Your personal nutrition plan is not a product of chance, but has been been created using your blood values and medical history. This makes your plan as unique as your fingerprint. The selected foods support your metabolism and provide you with the nutrients that were previously lacking in your diet. Enjoy trying new foods and being creative with the foods on your plan. I can help you with recipe ideas. In phases 3 and 4 you are actually encouraged to bring in new foods that were not on your food list.
Yes, especially during phase 2 where you should follow your plan to the letter. Once you have reached your goal, we can discuss how to relax the amount of food in your program.
